Life After Disney and Photos

Life here has been going very well since I have been home from Orlando and Disney World. I admit I still miss it very much and the memories that I made there will never leave me. Now that I am home, I have discovered many surprises that are in store for me. One thing that I discovered is that I get to graduate this spring semester! SCORE!!!! But Disney will forever hold a place in my heart!

Here are a few pictures of my 7 months at Disney World.
Waiting to go home from the Contemporary Resort.

Agent Ronnie! He learned from Mickey Mouse to do his voice when Ronnie lost his.

Aimee and I at Planet Hollywood having dinner . We got to see the Patriot 'Iron Man' suit while we were having dinner.

Being a book nerd for halloween last year. The book is the first one to a series that I love very much and my new fond vampire series.

Anna, me and Elsa before the movie 'Frozen' came out. This was the 2nd day they were in the Norway pavilion at EPCOT and the wait line was only 30 minutes! Score! After the movie it was a 4 hour wait. (not kidding!)

Jasmine, me and Aladdin in Morocco pavilion at EPCOT.

Me at the 'Night of Stars' show for CP's. A fellow cast member was performing and I came to support him!
This is Benji the winner of "Best Instrumental" in the 'Night of Stars'. A lot of people came to support him. Tons of Agent P cast members were there too.

Markise and I enjoying the Osmond Christmas Lights at Hollywood Studios (or MGM) after 'Night of Stars'.

Mickey Mouse and I before I had to take the boat over to EPCOT to begin my shift that day.

Wreck-it Ralph, me and Vanellope von Schweetz

Tree of Life at the Animal Kingdom. This was going to see the show "It's Tough To Be A Bug".

Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom. Try to survive the yeti inside the mountain if you can!

Tigger and I before Christmas week.

Chip, me and Dale

Lilo, Robyn Lee and I at Ohana's at the Polynesian Resort for breakfast with other Agent P cast members.

Stitch came up out of nowhere and this was the best way to get him behind Robyn Lee.
He was quite the jokester and I really liked him.

Pluto with Lucas and Maria (fellow Agent P cast members).

Lucas, Manuel, Mickey Mouse, me, Robyn Lee and Maria. We had to take at least one with all of us with our boss.

Marry Poppins, me and Bert celebrating "Limited Time Magic" to help promote the new Disney movie 'Saving Mr. Banks'. Bert NEVER comes out and this was a once in a life time to get him with Marry.

Frank and Shayne drove 3 hours to come see me the weekend before Christmas week. It was the best gift I have ever received! We totally owned the parks we went to!

Christmas Eve at Magic Kingdom and boy that was maxed out. I did not go on ANY rides because they were all over 2 hour waits. I just walked around to take pictures and videos. Since I was only 8 days away from being done with my program I had to take as much as I could before I could no longer get in for free.

I got to see Peter Pan and Wendy on Christmas Eve. They thought I was a pirate from my sleeves. They had stripes but I told them they were candy cane stripes and they relaxed. That was a Magical Moment for me with them.

Jacob came to the SLC airport to surprise me when I flew in. I was beyond tired and was on my way to get my luggage when I felt a hand on my right shoulder and when I turned around there he was. It was the best way to come home to.

I took this when I was just taking pictures for my friend Danielle when I was on the bridge to Liberty Square when I looked at the castle and the castle was like this for only 3 minutes. This NEVER happens and it is more of a "be at the right place at the right time" photo shot and this is by far my favorite one I have ever taken of the castle.

The castle after it was light up. The pictures don't do so much justice and if you have seen the castle light up, you just know the feeling when it does. Seeing that happen for the first time for me was beyond amazing!

Hades and I at the Winter Formal.

Me and the Evil Queen at the Winter Formal.

Shon and I at the Winter Formal. We are both from Idaho.

A bunch of fellow LDS members at the Winter Formal

Andrew and Shon. They were amazing roommates.

Thanks to this man I have been able to be apart of the Disney family twice! I owe so much to him and his dreams! Thank you Walt Elias Disney!!!!! You truly made my dreams come true while I worked for your company.

I got to graduate from the program!!!

This is what I got during the graduating for CP's only .

Having the famous Dr. Doofenslurps at EPCOT. I had to make sure that Dr. Doofenshmirtz did not put anything diabolical into the drinks. Since I was an Agent for the O.W.C.A. you have to go undercover.

Remembering The College Program 2013

A month has gone by since I came home from Disney World, and I want to give some advice to those who are wanting to go do the program.

1. When you get accepted, enjoy every minute that you possibly can! Think every day when you are getting ready for work: "Who can I create the Magic for them?" Trust me it works and every time I thought that I got to meet the most amazing people ever!

2. You will be placed with either amazing or terrible roommates while you stay at Disney. I've had both and it can be a challenge. Sit down with all your roommates and talk so that you can get to know one another better. Having roommates that leave you out in the dark is very hard when they all go do something and neglect to invite you. If they have any issues against you big or small: TALK! Communication is key to happy roommates! No communication leads to roommates terminating themselves because they did not feel like they belonged.

3. When you are in the parks on your day off, try to do every ride you possibly can! I did everything in 7 months and doing all the rides that are more popular I recommend that you go when the parks open. That way you are able to do the more popular rides.

4. What ever program you get on, try to at least go get a reservation to one of the more tougher restaurants. You never know what can happen! I got to go into the be our guest restaurant at Magic Kingdom the same day I went to celebrate my brother's graduation and I got in!! Some are more difficult to get in but just try and be determined! The most challenging one is Cinderella's Royal Table because it is in the castle itself.

5. While you are working you never know what kind of memories you will gain! Whether it is with
fellow cast members or you creating them for guests who are there on vacation. Some families are there from Make A Wish or Give Kids the World Foundations and you might just be the one whom they remember their entire trip.

6. Smile! It is very contagious! A fellow cast member that I worked with, he always had a smile when he came into work and if I was having a tough day his smile had me forget all my worries and I was truly grateful that he was there to make my day. So smile! You never know who maybe in need of a smile in return.

7. When you look back at all the good times you had at Disney, they will forever be in your heart! the ups and downs changed me and all the times I was there I would never trade them for the world!

Last Post from Orlando

Tonight is the last night I will be typing in Orlando because at 6am I will be on my way to the international airport here in Orlando. I am sad to say good bye to the people I have meet here in the 6 months and yet happy to be going home to the mountains that I have been missing very much. One thing I am not looking forward to is the freezing weather there and boy that adjustment is going to be a harsh one at that too.

But after not seeing family for such a long time I know that they are ready to have me home and so are my friends. Maybe one day I can come back to Florida and maybe go to Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Which ever one will come first in my future life. When I get home I will be updating my blog a lot and for all of you to enjoy. I will see you all very soon!

Jokes that I See Related to Disney

For the longest time I would find things that were very funny about Disney but just today I saw this and I could not stop laughing because this is SO true. Even though I never worked at Maelstrom in the Norway pavilion, I can feel the pain of how crowded it was after the Frozen princesses came. Now trying to get through Norway at EPCOT is very hard and filled A LOT with guests. So for all of those who have seen the difference can agree with me and say that this picture is SO true.

When I saw this one, I could not help but wonder what poor Flynn had to go through the entire movie.

This made my head spin. I think Disney was WAY head of 'Percy Jackson' on this one. Just took a little longer for us to see that.
Way to set an example of talking to strangers Disney! This was scary yet funny at the same time.

Frying pans who knew they are of good use for almost ANYTHNG!! Thank you Rapunzel for that lesson!

This one is now my all time favorite for now because it is very true. Sometimes you don't need your prince to save you right now. Sisters can save you before they do! Thank you Anna and Elsa for this lesson!

Even though there is a TON of Disney pictures that make fun of the characters but these are the ones make me laugh.

Reflections of My Disney Adventures.

Today while I was looking around on Facebook, I came across this quote that had my own personal experiences that I have had here at Disney World. There will be sometimes you just want to quit and give up but if you think to yourself; "Who can I help create a wonderful trip here at Disney World?" it does help you move on and to 'Keep moving forward'.

During the summer I had to be completely honest, I was not ready for the swarming amounts of tour groups from South America come in all at once. Think on this level (150 or more kids in one group with only 3-4 adults in the group). Yeah I was ready to throw the towel in and just up and leave but I had to always ask myself "If I leave, there is no chance that I can help create the Magic here and some family or child may have a different view on their trip and may not want to come back."

There were other times it was from trying to deal with personal issues at the apartment that I was staying at for  my time. I had to learn at one point that since I did not feel like I was welcomed or belonged to go off and do things on my own. That was a hard lesson but after I went off to go do things with friends from work of by myself I had more fun than I did being all by myself.

During my many adventures I had some amazing things happen to me as well. My family decided to come and see me while I was here. I mean who doesn't want to get into Disney World for free? Having them come was amazing and to also mention that it was my little siblings first time to ANY Disney theme parks in their lives. Knowing how much a family of 4 blows for a few day trip it is very hard to even think of going with a family of 8. But having them come was the best medicine a girl could've ever asked for when she was struggling very badly in her life and needed to see some familiar faces.

Also during my adventures I was able to meet the most amazing cute couple ever! Author Shayne Leighton from the book series 'Of Light and Darkness' and her husband Frank. I met Shayne at a Book Fest in August and then in December I was bale to see Shayne again and meet her husband Frank for the first time. I will say from my own view that we OWNED the parks that we went to and boy I had a blast with them. I wish them the best of luck in their many adventures this year. Good luck you two!!

In many ways I can say that the 'wilderness [was] explored' (Disney's Up) while I have been here and I wish that I could write more but I need to get my hands warm since it is freezing right now and I have to put them in warm water.

Thank You Disney for Everything!

Hey everyone, while you read this post you are now reading it from a girl who no longer works with Disney World. This is very tough for me to write this because all the fun memories I have had while living in Orlando for the past 6 1/2 months have been one in a million.

To all of my friends who are thinking about working for Disney World, you are going to be in for quite a treat. I know one of my friends was accepted to come here in about 2 weeks AND this is her first time coming to Disney World. She has been to Disneyland so the change will be quite an interesting one to hear from her. I wish her the best of luck and I hope that she enjoys working here just as much as I did.

Here are a few pictures that try to help capture what I have done and how I am going to miss this place VERY much! Thanks to every single person who helped create the Magic and as Walt once said "I hope that you never lose sight of one thing; it all began with a mouse."

Me with my AMAZING team mates at the Spike Fest! The Incomplete team wins the championship!!

Frank and Shayne came to see me before Christmas week. We owned it by the way!!

Me, my brother David, my sister Amanda, and my mom on their 1st visit EVER to Disney World and celebrating 2 birthdays at Magic Kingdom!

Me at the Night of Stars. I came to support a fellow cast member which won best instrumental!

Me and fellow cast member Benji Beach

Agent P cast members at a movie night in France.

This was my reaction on how I have felt on leaving Disney and Agent P all together.
